I’m obsessed with this. I’m a software developer and mental illness sufferer and man, oh man, tackling those huge projects that I want to do and excite me still seems like climbing Everest naked without any equipment every.single.time. I’ve learned from programming that if you can’t fix a bug/get something to work, it’s because what you’re trying to solve is too big, so you need to break it down to an even smaller step. I think that applies to really any field too, and especially for people with mental illness. Great article.
